Kenya's pathway to the International Olympiad in Artificial Intelligence (IOAI) — identifying and training the country's brightest young AI talent.
NOAI Kenya selects and trains a national team of students to compete internationally, building a pipeline of AI talent rooted in Kenya.
Training began for Kenya's first NOAI cohort.
The national team was selected from the first cohort.
Kenya participated for the first time in the International Olympiad in Artificial Intelligence (IOAI), held in Beijing.
Applications opened for high school students (Forms 1–3) to join the second NOAI Kenya cohort, ahead of IOAI 2026 in Abu Dhabi, UAE.
Training for the second cohort began in December and continued through February.
The final team for IOAI 2026 in Abu Dhabi was announced.
